American wonderkid Freddy Adu is on a two week trial at United. He is however ineligible for competitive games as he does not have a work permit.
Adu is the youngest USA player to be capped at international level, making his debut at the age of 16 against neighbours Canada.
According to certain media reports, Chelsea reportedly rejected the offer to sign him.
Edit- Manchester United have reportedly rejected him after the trial. Guess the lad goes back to America to play for DC

Freddy Adu playing for a club as good as Man U? NEVER. If he does play in Europe which is unlikely unless he starts to develop a lot more he will be at some second rate team like Reading.

i dont see where ur getting that from have useen him play? hes an electic 1 on 1 player whos an underrated passer, by him moving to the prem it’ll just improve his game, i htink he’ll go over there after this 07′ MLS season and do fine
