Bradford City sign Chris Brandon

League one side Bradford City have signed Chris Brandon on a two year contract. The 32 year old was one of the eight players whose contract was not extended by Huddersfield Town manager Stan Ternent ( The others were Frank Sinclair, Lucas Atkins, Aaron Hardy, Danny Young, Danny Rocchi, Mitchell Bailey and Luke Malcher)

Brandon joined Town in 2004 on a free transfer from Chesterfield. He had a loan spell at Chesterfield last season.

It is a return to his hometown for Brandon- he was a trainee at Bradford City before joining Bradford Park Avenue.

Brandon made over a hundred and thirty appearances for Town, and will be remembered by fans for his all important striker against Worcester City in the FA Cup, which landed them a lucrative third round tie against Chelsea.
