Heath Streak will end county career with Warwickshire

Former Zimbabwean captain Heath Streak has announced that this will be his last season of county cricket. Streak currently plays with the Bears, and has no plans to continue after this season.

Streak,33,  regarded by many as Zimbabwe’s finest fast bowler,  had retired from international cricket in 2005. He was also Warwickshire captain for close to two years before resigning in April 2007. He is the only Zimbabwean to have taken more than 100 test wickets.

Streak is one of the four African bowlers at Warwickshire- the remaining three are South Africa’s Dale Steyn, Paul Harris and Alfonso Thomas.
