Liverpool move into the group stages
Liverpool drew with Maccabi Haifa away 1-1 to go into the group stages on a 3-2 aggregate.The game was not actually a home game for the Israelis though,with it being played in the Ukranian capital of Kiev.
Nir Davidovich put up a fine show in the first half to deny Liverpool and a Peter Crouch goal in the second half calmed their nerves. Robert Colautti equalised 9 minutes later but the Reds held on for a draw.
